That's some beginner's luck!
A Texas teen bagged the biggest alligator ever caught in the state during his first hunt.
Braxton Bielski, 18, shot and killed the 800-pound beast in Choke Canyon State Park last week.
The senior at Cinco Ranch High School baited the 14-foot monster with raw meat dangling from a hook before shooting it down at close range.
The reptile was believed to be between 30 and 50 years old.
His dad, Troy Bielski, told KHOU11 his son had been waiting to take part in the public hunt for "several years."
And he revealed he'd also had some success in snaring a 10-and-a-half-foot female gator.
"If we had just caught the one, I would have been happy for Brax. He's the reason I was there, "said the father.
