A WOMAN allegedly threw a dog out of her unit window following an argument in the complex in western Sydney.
About 3.45pm yesterday, a dispute between the 24-year-old woman and a man heated up in the unit complex on Park Avenue, Kingswood.
The woman allegedly picked up her eight-month-old Staffordshire dog and threw it out her bedroom window, which was 15 meters above the ground.
The dog suffered a broken leg, broken teeth and suspected internal injuries.
The woman was taken to Penrith Police Station where she was interviewed and charged with cruelty to animal causing serious injury.
She was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court today.
The dog will remain in care and undergo further tests today.
